A Modern Choice at Andrews Fish Bar

Costas Andrews at Welshpool is a man who likes to have the very latest in modern technology and his fish and chip shop is no exception.   When it came to replacing his range last September, he went on a mission to hunt out all different ranges available around the UK. 

On his travels he heard many positive comments about Dutch ranges and the Florigo ranges in particular caught his eye.  ‘I had previously researched into buying a Florigo range and had built up a really good relationship with Lee Woodward so when I revisited buying a range again, I knew who to call on,’ Costas explained.

Costas worked with Lee to design a range that would be versatile enough to cope with his busy periods as well as his quieter ones, saving him money on his all important gas bills.  ‘My old range had rails on the pans so I could test out using basket pans; I found it worked well so I made sure I incorporated them and basket pans on my Florigo range.  This now means that I can put on less baskets when I’m quieter which works out to be more economic for me.

‘Now it’s been installed I can see how this range has a totally different concept of frying and not just because I’m now basket frying: the filtration is completely unique which is also really easy to use and the pans are wider which creates a different way of working.  This range is also easier to keep clean: the pans are stainless steel and there aren’t any joints, giving me a tidier working environment.’

 And the benefits of this range don’t just stop there: Costas has also been impressed with how his Florigo is quicker on recovery and the quality of the extraction system. ‘As with life, you always have to move forward and I feel like I have with this range.’  So to move your business forward, make sure you come to Florigo!
